Last Visit User's Guide - Last Visit's Message And Notification System
Written by Jason

While editing existing or composing new notification messages you may notice a list of placeholdes at the top of the message editor. These place holders allow you to insert individual member information or your website's information from the database into the message. Last Visit™ will automatically replace the placeholder with the appropriate information when the message is dispatched. For example, if I wanted to notify members of the date of their last visit, I would simply insert [lv] into the message where I want the date to be displayed. Last Visit™ would then replace the [lv] placeholder with the date of each member's last visit when the message is dispatched.

Last Visit™ will provide you with two pre-installed example messages which can help you better understand how the placeholders can be used. Open the messages in edit mode to see how they are composed.
