Last Visit User's Guide - Searching The Last Visitâ„¢ Database

Last Visit™'s advanced Search page allows you to define search criteria using matches or expressions.

As an example, here is how the search definitions are laid out ...
Username = Does Not = Like Contains Does Not Contain --- And Or

If you want to list all members with Love as a username, you would select = from the first drop-menu, then type Love into the text field and submit your search.

If you want to list all members that do not have Love as a username, you would select Does Not = from the first drop-menu, then type Love into the text field and submit your search.

If you want to list all members with a username similar to Love, you would select Like from the first drop-menu, then type Love into the text field and submit your search.

If you want to list all members with the word Love in their usernames, you would select Contains from the first drop-menu, then type Love into the text field and submit your search.

If you want to list all members that do not have the word Love in their usernames, you would select Does Not Contain from the first drop-menu, then type Love into the text field and submit your search.

This feature is very helpful when searching for members with multiple accounts. Many times spammers will create multiple accounts which contain different variations of the same word within their usernames. For example, the infamous PHP-Nuke Lottery spammer is a person or group of people that target PHP-Nuke websites and exploit the web mail features to send out loads of Spam email from the victim's website. These spammers commonly use the word lotto in their usernames. This search feature makes it easy to seek them out if they exist in your database.
