How to make a music playlist you can use on a webpage?
Making a music or video playlist is easy with my playlist editor if you follow these steps:
- Enter the direct internet link to your audio or video file in the Link field. If your link does not not begin with http://, mms://, or another Internet protocol, it will not work on the Internet. Your link should not look like this - c:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Local Settings or file://. Otherwise, it will only play on your computer and not over the Internet.
- Enter a title or description for your file in the Title field. This will only be used to help you sort your playlist.
- Push the [+] button to add the item to your playlist. When the first item is added, the list will be displayed. As you add more items, you will be able to drag and drop playlist items into any position in the list. To delete an item, simply drag it and drop it in the Trash panel.
- When you have completed adding items to your list, press the Submit button to generate the link to your new M3U formatted playlist. You can use the playlist link in most any media player that supports M3U music playlists. However, you need a live connection to the Internet to be able to use the link locally.
Copy and Paste the playlist link to my Embed Code Generator if you want to use it on a webpage.
